about the new business

I have wanted to start a wedding photography company for some time now. I started thinking about this new business even before I graduated from college. A friend of mine and her sister are in the business and I was so excited to see how their business developed and how much clientele they've built over the years, its just been an inspiration! I have photographed a few weddings in the past but I am excited to start photographing under an official business name.

I would say that I needed a push to get into the entrepreneurial industry. I was a little nervous at first - starting your own company is a huge deal, but now that I've established the company and have started it up I feel more confident. The dive is the hardest part but once it gets going your natural ability just kicks in gear.

My business partner is my mom! She is a great photographer and has many years of experience behind a camera. I don't think that I've ever seen her without one in hand! She is very detail oriented and can see details that I sometimes can not, so it is great that she is on board.
